Accounts Payable Officer
Job Introduction
A vacancy has arisen for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Brisbane office.
Role Responsibility
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Processing invoices and reconciliation with purchase order system;
- Reconciliation of creditor statements;
- Raising and monitoring purchase orders in the IFS system;
- Month end accounts payable processes including accruals;
- Maintenance of the accounts payable ledger in Navision;
- Assisting administrators with the IFS purchase order system;
- Ad hoc reports including PO monitoring for divisions, and assistance with management reporting
- Managing creditor queries and resolving discrepancies;
The Ideal Candidate
It is essential that the applicant have the following characteristics:
- Minimum 3 years experience in an AP role for Australian based company
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent keyboard skills for high volume entry
- Experienced user of Electronic PO systems
- Excellent at problem solving and able to work on own initiative
Experience with IFS/ Navision systems is desirable
